Newcomers to Sacramento!

Mae Fesai, newest on-air talent at KCRA. She anchors and reports when needed usually in the mornings. She comes from KSBW in the Salinas/ Monterey market.

Nick Monacelli is new t0 News10, he comes from WZZM-TV in Grand Rapids, MI. The same station where Tim Geraghty (News10 news director) came from.

Kenny Lopez joins FOX40 from KVEO-23 in Brownsville, Texas. He is one of the youngest reporters I've seen in this market. I'm guessing 24?

Neda Iranpour joins CBS 13 as a general assignment reporter from Reno, Nevada.

Amanda Sanchez comes from the ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada. She will take over Anny Hong's position... which was weather anchoring/ and reporting. As for Anny, from what I've heard she's moved to Paris. But have no other information than that. I will definitely update this when I do.

Her name is Laura Skride, and she comes from the NBC affiliate in Austin, Texas! Se will be 'weathering' the forecast Weekdays on CBS 13 from 5-7 a.m. and at noon as well. A little bit about Laura, she graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in the mid 90s and earned her Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University in the early 2000's.

News10 has hired a new freelance reporter! Her name is Patricia Kakridas and she comes from the NBC affiliate in Decatur, IL where she co-anchored. Patricia graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Political Science and Communications. She's a local! And was a producer/ write for FOX40. An interesting fact she speaks Greek and Spanish! Welcome Patricia

Ben Deci joins FOX40 from ABC in Las Vegas where we worked mainly as an investigative reporter. He graduated from the University of Michigan.

Ama Daetz joins FOX40 as a fill-in anchor from WDIV in Detroit! She's a native from San Jose and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

-Danielle Leigh joins KCRA 3 on the "Night team"

I hope you're not going into journalism. Man, you gotta get your facts straight, not to mention your typos and grammar.
Neda, the new reporter at KOVR came from Channel 2 in Reno, not Channel 12. There is no Channel 12in Reno.
And the new reporter at KXTV came from a station in Decatur, Illinois NOT Decatur, Georgia. There are no TV news stations in Decatur, Georgia except perhaps the stations in a nearby little town called Atlanta.
Sheesh.

I am human.

Neda was the lead reporter for KTVN she seemd pretty good when I watched her. I am sure they didn't want to see her leave because she usually was the "big story" reporter...

Actually, you're sloppy. Even your correction is wrong! Neda came from the CBS station in Reno, not ABC. It's right in the logo of the photo you posted.

I think people can offer constructive criticism without being rude. People sometimes make mistakes, even if their oversights are somewhat obvious. There's no need to badger someone for making a few mistakes. I hope Anonymous realizes that, even in journalism, not everyone is perfect.

Actually, Radio Matthew, if you are in journalism you are supposed to strive for perfection. In the end, cold, hard facts are all that matter. Journalism is NOT supposed to be a collection of guesses, suppositions and the hope that maybe you got it right.
Journalism also means having class and good taste and not writing cutesy ethnic slurs like "love you long time" in web stories about a prostitution bust.

In a channel 10 broadcast in August the lead male anchor made a statement. Patty Souza from weather than made a comment in regards to his age. There was dead silence for 15 seconds. Patty than said I guess Dale and I are having a serious moment. Dale responded by ssying the he was just about to welcome her back from vacation before she made that comment. That was the last time Patty was seen on Channel 10. They began replacing her with other weather staff. Prior to all this happening, Patty had stated on TWITTER account, how she was looking forward to returning from vacation. I still have her last Channel 10 broadcast on my DVR. Truly one of the most uncomfortable moments I have seen in 50 years of watching broadcast news.

It's the KCRA "NIGHT Team" not the "Nightside Team."
